Registration guidelines
The registration is closed!
We cordially invite you to the 19th Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists!
All participants and accompanying persons must register for the conference. If you intend to attend the conference, please complete the registration form.
The deadline for early registration is April 30, 2012. After this date, higher registration fee categories apply.
EAERE 2012 registration process
Registration must be completed via the conference website in two steps. First we ask you to create your account using your email address. Then a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided. You then need to click on a link in the confirmation email to continue with the registration process. If you do not receive the confirmation email in due course please check your spam box before contacting us.
For group registrations, please contact us at info@eaere2012.org.
You will receive final confirmation of your registration along with an invoice only after the conference secretariat has received your payment.

Payments
You can pay your registration fee online with a credit card, or you can pay the registration fee via bank transfer.
Bank charges are the responsibility of the payee and are to be paid at source in addition to the registration fee! Your payment will otherwise not be accepted!
Payment of the registration fee onsite will be possible only in cash.
NEW REGISTRATION CATEGORY!
Please note that at EAERE 2012 we have introduced new registration categories!
The "standard registration fee" includes as usual participation in three social events: the welcome cocktail, the conference dinner plus a third social event.
In order to allow for more accessible fee categories, participants are offered the possibility of purchasing a "discounted registration fee" that does not include the conference dinner (including only the welcome cocktail and a social event).
CO2 Offset
During the registration process you will be offered the option of purchasing CO2 offset compensation fee of 10 EURO for flights within Europe and 40 EURO for flights coming from outside of Europe.
Money collected this year from the CO2 offsets will be used by the local civic association Pro krajinu, o.s.
Each conference participant purchasing the CO2 offset will obtain a birth certificate of the tree that will be planted thanks to his or her offset.

VISA requirements
There is visa-free entry for citizens of most European countries, Australia, Canada and the United States. If necessary, visas are issued by diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic in a given country. Czech Republic is a member of the Schengen area. Inhabitants of contractual states are allowed to cross borders between states within this area without undergoing border controls. Still, inhabitants of these states have the obligation to carry a passport or an identity card with them.

If you need an invitation letter from the conference organisers in order to obtain your VISA, please inform the conference secretariat at info@eaere2012.org as soon as possible. Please note that the invitation letter will be provided only upon the payment of the conference registration fee.
Cancellation policy
Registration can be cancelled upon written notification of the local organisers, by e-mail to info@eaere2012.org.
No refunds of the EAERE membership and the ERE paper subscription fee will be given. Bank fees will be charged from all refunds.
A full refund of the registration fees will be given if the cancellation is received before April 30, 2012.
50% refund of the registration fees will be given if the cancellation is received before May 31, 2012.
No refunds will be made after this date.
